Every UTC day gets one canonical word. That word is never used as the canonical daily word again. Collectors pull from the same pinned model contracts, and the collectible does not exist until the model produces it.

Every collector enters the same controlled setup: the same canonical word, the same pinned model, the same image settings. No prompt engineering. No hand-picked result. The only thing allowed to vary is the model's own stochastic output.
When the UTC day closes, that canonical moment is over.

NFTs usually take artwork someone already chose and put ownership around it. OneWord does the interesting part first: the model event creates the artifact.

Rarity can emerge instead of being invented.
OneWord lets supply scale with participation. If a model almost always produces one interpretation and occasionally produces something strange, that rarity belongs to the generator's output distribution — not a badge we assigned in advance.
The market gets to decide what is interesting. We do not pre-assign the answer.
A collectible with a receipt.
Each accepted render preserves the generation facts that matter, so the story of the artifact is not just a caption. It is part of its provenance. Exact date + model views also publish circulating supply, owners, active asks, and holder concentration.
The API request contains the day's word, not a custom collector prompt.
Model snapshot and settings are bound to the day before the pull.
The returned image is preserved as the accepted original.
A cryptographic hash identifies those exact bytes.
Mint and marketplace transfers become part of the artifact's history.
Collectors can see how many exist, how many owners hold them, and how many are for sale.
Future mechanics can change. History cannot.
We publish the rules we commit not to change retroactively: one canonical word once forever, closed days stay closed, originals and provenance are preserved, supply is transparent, and completed history is not rewritten.

OneWord currently uses an internal ownership and provenance ledger. A blockchain could eventually be useful for public tamper-evident anchoring, but the collectible does not need to become a token to be interesting. The scarce thing is the authentic model event on its one canonical day.
